This photograph was taken during 1998 on my trusted Canon T90 camera and a super sharp, super fast manual focus Canon FD 50mm F1.2 prime lens. The image was shot without strobes on Kodak Tri-X film, pushed processed to 3200 ISO.

The Ragged-Tooth is considered to be one of South Africa’s more docile sharks. Nevertheless, this species of shark has been implicated in attacks on humans in other parts of the world.
